Wednesday 1.15 - 2.15, week 3 only

We meet on the third Wed in the month for around an hour. I generally arrange a programme of around 40 - 45 mins of music, laced with info, anecdotes and jokes.

Sometimes we have an outside speaker and twice we have managed a live band.

15th February 2012: A Date With Lionel.
All those lovely standards played by vibraphonist, drummer, pianist and vocalist Lionel Hampton.

21st March 2012: Choices.
Newport U3A members choose from their favourites. First on the list: George Shearing. There may still be time to add your own musician, vocalist or tune to the total.
