Meetings:   Thursday, 1.30 – 3.30, weeks 1, 3, 4 & 5

We are a large group of 50-60 people, who enjoy learning more about history. We plan a varied programme of talks about people, places and events from local and world history, plus many quirky historical items.

We endeavour to have a speaker each week who talks and demonstrates with slides etc on the chosen topic; there is ample opportunity for a Q&A session at the end of each talk. We arrange trips throughout the year to various places of historical interest.

There is a weekly raffle – cost 50p, to help cover the cost of our speakers.
