Creative Writing

After a thoroughly enjoyable few weeks, during which we studied Crime Writing as a genre, ranging from early work by authors such as Poe and Conan Doyle to the modern psychological crime novel, we are now waiting the grades and comments on our submitted work.
This term we have started a different module: “Language and Creative Writing”. In this we shall be examining the patterns of characteristics of spoken language and how writers can transpose this language into the written word.
This looks to be a challenging term, but under the guidance of our expert tutor, Paula Brackston, I am confident that we shall find this subject as equally interesting and enjoyable as others we have tackled previously.
